RI&S has leveraged more than 50 years of Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) experience in the development of the AN/APX-119 Digital Transponder family. The combined Mark XIIA/Mode 5/Mode S/ADS-B/Legacy embedded GPS capability is FAA TSO certified and enables aircraft to operate seamlessly throughout international, civil and military airspaces. The flexible open system architecture of RI&S’s IFF facilitates plug and play upgrades.
